Sustainability at Growing Places Indy: Prepping, Planting, and Pulling

Bear Breaks volunteered at Growing Places Indy today to learn more about Sustainability. While there, we fought off freezing conditions including both wind and snow. Luckily, we were able to work in the greenhouses to warm us up. While in the greenhouses, we prepared crates of soil to be seeded. St. Louis Bear Breaks

Life has been hectic since the beginning of the school year - different obligations pulling me in all directions. St. Louis- Fall Break 2017

Yesterday we arrived to the north St. Louis neighborhood we are staying in, the Ville. The Ville used to be a bustling and diverse neighborhood, but has seen massive population declines in recent decades, like many other neighborhoods in St. Louis and across the country.
