Communication Professor Dr. Kelly Wood has been nominated for the division of student affairs’ 2014-2015 Student Affairs Bridge Builder award. This will be the first year the award will be given.

What is the DOSA Awards?

The annual DOSA Awards recognize student affairs students and staff for exemplary performance. The Student Affairs Bridge Builder allows members from outside of student affairs to be acknowledged for their strong collaborative partnerships. Nominations are made by current Missouri State University employees who work outside of the division of student affairs.

Winners announced at all-staff meeting

All nominees will be recognized at the 2015 all-staff meeting on Sept. 2 at 8 a.m. in the PSU Ballroom. Winners from each category will be announced at that time, as well.

Who is Dr. Wood?

Wood has taught at Missouri State for nearly two decades. Her research and teaching interests are primarily in interpersonal communication and relationships with an emphasis on the health care context. She’s won numerous awards for teaching and research.
