Robert Martin has been named the new information security officer for Missouri State University.
As the information security officer, Martin will provide the vision and strategies necessary to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of university electronic information by communicating risks, leading the efforts to develop and maintain enforceable policies and supporting processes, and makes certain the many layers of the university’s information security posture are in place and effective.
Martin has worked at the university for 10 years in various IT related positions and has served as an information security analyst since 2013. As an information security analyst, he has been an invaluable member of the team that ensures information security-related best practices are in place throughout the university’s enterprise architecture.
