Looking at the eclipse through glasses

Donate solar glasses to other countries

Astronomers Without Borders will give your glasses to someone who can use them.

August 28, 2017 by Strategic Communication

Astronomers Without Borders and Explore Scientific are dedicated to sharing science with all.

In 2019, a solar eclipse will cross South America and Asia. Missouri State University is a collection site for the solar eclipse glasses to donate to these countries.

Missouri State and the College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CNAS) are collecting glasses in the CNAS dean’s office at Temple Hall 142 until October 1st.

Learn more about where the glasses will go.
