Aug. 7 is the primary election. Voters will see a variety of important issues.
Missouri State University, in conjunction with the Greene County Clerk’s Office, is trying to make voting easier.
Starting Aug. 7, the Davis-Harrington Welcome Center on Missouri State’s campus is a central polling location.
Voting at the Welcome Center
Anyone who is registered to vote in Greene County can vote at the Welcome Center.
Polls are open 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. If you are in line at 7 p.m., you will be able to cast your vote.
Voters must present identification to cast a ballot.
Parking to vote
There is no charge for parking for voters.
The Welcome Center lot (lot 14) is open to voters and will have 10 voters only parking spots. Monroe Apartments (lot 29) will have five overflow spots.
Signs will indicate where to park at both lots.
What if you are registered in another county?
If your registration is in another county and you moved to Greene County after the voter registration deadline (July 11), contact the Greene County Clerk’s Office.
If you are registered in another county, you must cast a ballot in that county.
