The Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has received a makeover. The Missouri SBDC is excited to announce the adoption of a new look that ties the Missouri SBDC together with SBDC programs across the nation!
The SBDC program has been serving Missouri businesses since 1982. Over the last 37 years business consultants across the state have helped thousands of businesses start, grow and scale.
From 2016-18, Missouri SBDC clients attributed a total of $450 million in increased sales, $323 million of approved capital funding, over 10,000 jobs retained/created and over 300 businesses started.
The SBDC services help clients compete locally, nationally, and internationally because the program has evolved to meet client needs and adapt to changes in business. The new representation of the Missouri SBDC is another step of evolution for the program and necessary to remain relevant to the business community.
Some may remember that in 2005 the Missouri SBDC program received a technology accreditation and became known as the Missouri Small Business and Technology Development Center. Although the “T” is not specifically represented in the new look, the Missouri SBDC maintains a strong technology program for those seeking assistance with intellectual property, SBIR/STTR applications, as well as technology development and commercialization.
Clients, hosts, partners and Missouri businesses can expect a continued commitment to innovation, client-focused services, continuous improvement and collaboration from the Missouri SBDC.
