Nancy B. Underhill, groundskeeper, horticulturalist and certified arborist with grounds services, attended the Missouri Community Forestry Council Conference at Chateau on the Lake in Branson, Missouri, August 25-27, 2021.
The theme of the conference was “Growing Our Future.”
Educational sessions throughout the conference focused on topics such as tree and forest health, social interaction on urban forestry trails, vegetation management, risk assessment for large tree populations and the impact of utility rights-of-way on various animals and insects. The conference also offered an opportunity to network with colleagues regarding tree care.
Nancy was able to attend the conference due in part to funds provided by a T.R.I.M. grant from the Missouri Department of Conservation.
