5 Reasons Why You Should Submit to LOGOS

February 28, 2019 by Kyle Osredker

There are only 31 days left until our submission deadline on March 31! Are you on the fence about submitting your work to LOGOS? Today we’re hoping to give you a gentle nudge in the right direction. Here are five reasons why you should send your work to us:

1. It’s free!

Unlike other journals, LOGOS has no submission or publication fees. You can submit as much work as you’d like, and as many times as you’d like, all for free! Reading our journal is free too! You can download copies of every volume of LOGOS on our website.

2. Build your resume!

Publishing as an undergraduate demonstrates talent, leadership, and initiative! It’s a fantastic way to stand out to future employers, faculty, and graduate school admission committees. Having a published paper will provide a certain level of professionalization to a resume that many undergraduates do not have.

3. We’re searchable on EBSCOhost!

It’s a little-known fact that our journal is searchable on EBSCOhost—and your work will be too, if your submission is accepted! There’s no better way to legitimize yourself as a scholar within your field than to have your work appear in an academic database. And who knows? Someone may cite you some day!

4. It’s easy!

Submitting your work to LOGOS is as easy as sending an email! Our submissions instructions are simple and straightforward. Take a look at them on our website.

5. You have nothing to lose!

Even if your work isn’t accepted, our peer reviewers and editors carefully read through each submission to provide valuable, thorough feedback and constructive comments to help you improve. If your submission isn’t accepted the first time, we strongly encourage you to continue sending your work to us! And if it is accepted…congratulations!

If you still aren’t convinced, visit our website for more information about LOGOS, our mission, our history, and our review process! Our submission deadline is March 31.
