AdSmith Marketing & Advertising is now hiring interns for their digital, copywriting, and account services departments.

Job Description: This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in digital media and online advertising. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working intern to join the ADsmith team.  Applicants should possess strong English skills, excellent writing skills, a competitive spirit and a desire to learn.

Details: This is a paid internship, minimum wage (or $7.65 per hour), with part time hours.  We require a commitment of 20 hours per week.  This is an ongoing opening; therefore, we ask that you plan to spend at least four or five months with us (one semester).  Ideally, though, we would like to have you join ADsmith as an intern for two consecutive semesters.  This particular internship starts the month of August 2015.  This position requires you to bring your own laptop.

Duties may include, but are not limited to: 

• Overall management and functionality of our clients’ websites plus all other assigned digital platforms, such as mobile, tablet and social
• Assisting with social media management for ADsmith and our clients
• Writing compelling digital ad copy, website copy, blog posts, etc.
• Assisting with online reputation management for our clients
• Understanding how digital fits in the overall marketing mix; implementing digital strategy
• Researching and remaining current on new digital media platforms, trends, etc.
• Working closely with all departments in a collaborative manner to support clients’ digital needs
• Available and willing to handle other duties and responsibilities at request of management

Skills and Personality Traits: 

• Must have a genuine interest in digital media and be willing and eager to learn
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be organized and able to meet deadlines
• Must be able to shift from one assignment or task to another as priorities change
• Must work well in a team environment
• Must have excellent writing skills
