Position Title: Graphic Design/Marketing Co-op

Academic Level: Sophomore, junior, or senior

Wage: $9.00-$9.50 (plus profit sharing bonus)

Requirements: Co-op must not graduate before May 2018

Job Description, Responsibilities, and Expectations

· Design variety of promotional print pieces, such as flyers, brochures, logos, subdivision signs, and banners

· Work on and complete multiple projects at once

· Implement new and fresh design concepts

· Collaborate with professional print shops

This job is great opportunity for graphic design, and/or marketing/communications/advertising students with graphic design skills. This job also allows students to produce a variety of high-quality print pieces for their professional portfolio. The ideal candidate will showcase attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, strong design skills, a cooperative attitude, a friendly demeanor, and proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite.

This is a part-time paid position available at Meek’s Corporate Office in Springfield, MO. Student will work in a casual but corporate office environment and will be paid to hone design skills, build portfolio pieces and gain experience in a well-known company. Approximately 20-25 hours per week during semesters and 40+ hours per week during the summer and school breaks if desired.
