Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

• Investigate and conduct work on an assigned summer project that supports a product or technology initiative for DFA’s Ingredients Division
• Work closely with DFA Technical Services staff to develop hands-on skills related to product or technology
• Develop a working knowledge of processing equipment used in product development and for manufacturing of DFA ingredients including cheese and dairy powders
• Support DFA Technical Services staff on their active technical projects
• Provide routine updates on project progress and challenges
• Complete a project summary and presentation at the end of the internship to present to the Business, Operations and Technical Services staff
