- Job Description / Primary Responsibilities:

- ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES: You be the main point of contact for customers when they need service, such as requesting coverage documents, turning in claims, working through billing issues, and answering questions for underwriters. Also, think proactively about customers needs and provide them value before they ask for it. Applicants who enjoy interaction with other people and helping them find solutions quickly enjoy this role. You will also develop a large network of underwriter contacts and claims contacts while dealing with many of the same vendors to help take care of customers. Technically, excellent organization, prioritization, and data entry skills will help your day flow more effectively and enjoyably. Personality traits of being energetic, handling adversity with a positive attitude, and being able to handle the demands of multiple deadlines will serve you well.
- PRODUCERS: You will spend much of your time prospecting to find new customers and servicing customers you acquire and bring in. Initially, you will need to dedicate significant time studying to learning the insurance business, jargon, risks and solutions for your niches, carrier appetites, and knowing underwriters personally. From there, you’ll need to learn how to build a prospect list, develop a cultivation loop, provide value to customers/prospects in your niches, get information in time, communicate with your account executive on a marketing strategy, review quotes and organize into a proposal, and help prospects find solutions to their problems to turn them into customers.

- Duties & Responsibilities

- You must be able to prioritize your work effectively and efficiently. A lack of hesitation to ask for help and to ask the reason behind doing something a certain way is a must. The former will cut your learning curve time dramatically, and the latter may help implement a more efficient workflow which helps us take care of our customers better. Excellent computer skills are very important. A good working knowledge of how to type a business letter, perform intermediate functions in Excel, and learn a new computer system are skills which will be needed daily.
