Known as the “Queen City” of the Ozarks, Springfield’s central location is ideal for hosting local, regional and national events and tournaments.
Position Overview: Fall 2026 internship program
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate Junior or Senior currently enrolled in o relevant degree program such as Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or Hospitality.
- GPA of 3.0 or Higher.
- Knowledge or desire to learn about sports industry trends, sports travel, tourism trends, and understanding of event planning.
- Ability to work independently and as port of the team, demonstrating initiative and proactive approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with sports groups and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Google accounts such as Drive, Sheets, Doc, etc.
Weekly Hours: Estimated up to 20 hours per week (occasional weekend hours for events)
Compensation: Paid internship (educational credit may be available if required by degree program)
