Marketing Intern Responsibilities

The Marketing Intern will assist with a variety of marketing activities, including:

• Creating, scheduling, and publishing social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Developing social content, including posts, stories, reels, and captions.
• Providing monthly social listening updates and identifying trends within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry and chocolate category.
• Using Canva to create social media assets, one-page advertisements, packaging mock-ups, and other marketing materials.
• Supporting marketing project management and helping ensure timelines and project details are executed accurately.
• Assisting with the coordination and execution of corporate gifting projects.
• Supporting brand collaborations with companies and other partners.
• Helping organize and occasionally attending events and product sampling demonstrations.
• Managing and organizing marketing assets and files using Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.
• Providing marketing research, light analysis, and support for additional projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Strong interest in marketing, social media, and eCommerce.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience using Canva for marketing and social media content creation.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Some analytical ability and comfort working with data.
• Social media experience.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a positive, collaborative approach.
• Ability to adapt to a quickly changing start-up environment.
• Undergraduate or Master’s student studying Marketing.
• Minimum of one year of marketing experience.
