The Department of Media, Journalism, and Film invites all students to attend “Online and On Time: How to make your writing sing for the web and multimedia,” on Monday, Oct. 15 from 2 to 3 p.m. Eastern time. This teletraining is hosted by the Society of American Business Editors and Writers (S.A.B.E.W). This training is free and open to any student regardless of membership in S.A.B.E.W.

Participants in the teletraining learn from a panel of experts how to polish their writing skills and hone their writing process, particularly as it pertains to online writing. These skills are helpful to both experienced and up-and-coming journalists. Dr. Mary Jane Pardue of the department will moderate the panel.
