“Ghoul School” Continues to Rock the Film Festival Circuit

Awards and honors continue to mount up for the Electronic Arts Senior Thesis project, Ghoul School (2012).

Awards and honors continue to mount up for the Electronic Arts Senior Thesis project, Ghoul School (2012). In September, this highly entertaining horror comedy short film will screen at four festivals in California, Colorado, Ohio and Louisiana.

As director, Brook Linder, reports, “with Ghoul School playing this weekend at the Celluloid Screams: Sheffield Horror Film Festival in England, the Phenom Film Fest in Louisiana, the Everybody Dies Horror Festival here in LA, and the Sacremento Film & Music Festival up northern California, it’s *almost* like a theatrical release.”

Film Festivals

Ghoul School was made by the Electronic Arts team of Brook Linder (writer/director), Tim Saville (sound design),  and Lauren Legate (producer). To date the short  has screened at the following national festivals:

 

 

  • Sierra Canyon Film Festival (Burbank, CA) – Best of Festival
  • Sacramento Film & Music Festival (CA)
  • Celluloid Screams Sheffield Horror Film Festival (Sheffield, England)   
  • Phenom International Film Fest (Shreveport, Louisiana)
  • Everybody Dies Horror Festival (Orange County, CA)
  • Mile High Horror Fest (Denver, CO)
  • Kansas City Filmfest (MO)
  •  Capital City Film Festival, (Lansing, MI)
