MJF students brought home high honors from this year’s Broadcast Education Association National Festival of Media Arts.

MSU took away six student awards and one faculty award this year in the following categories:

Narrative Video

Third place: “Common Cents” and “My Daughter’s Dragon”

Animation/Experimental/Mixed

Honorable Mention: Victor Pierce and Dalton Robbins, “Go Fish, Go Forever”

Second place: Sam Geneser, Bret Hoy, Kaitlyn Manlove and David Mudd, “Dither: The DIY Story”

Screenwriting: Short Subject

Third place: Samantha Sweet, “Point of Contact”
