Alumni from all eras of The Standard are invited to join in reunion activities throughout Homecoming this year. There will be opportunities to visit current College of Arts and Letters faculty, to tour the current Standard offices and to meet with other alumni and current students.

Oct. 16

COAL Homecoming Alumni Reception
5:30 p.m.
Meet fellow COAL alumni, students and faculty at the Springfield Brewing Company to sample hors d’oevres and a cash bar. This informal event offers our alums a chance to catch up with old friends and to check in with COAL professors.

Oct. 17

BearFest Village Tailgate
11 a.m.
Join The Standard alumni and their families for a tailgate reunion at the Alumni Association’s tent in BearFest Village. A meal and drinks, including alcohol, will be available for purchase.

The Standard Tour
11 a.m., 1 p.m., or 4:30 p.m.
Take a short tour of The Standard’s offices at 744 E. Cherry Street.

Homecoming Football Game
2 p.m.
Cheer the Missouri State Bears as they defend against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The Standard Alumni Meet & Greet
5 p.m.
Meet fellow Standard alumni and current Standard students in a networking mixer at the Springfield Brewing Company. We will be meeting upstairs in the pool table section. Food and drinks will be available to purchase.
