A copy editor reviews a proof of The Standard

Students win big at state media competitions

The College of Arts and Letters is proud to announce awards for our hard-working, talented students recently recognized for these impressive individual and collaborative projects:

MCMA

The Standard won 21 awards from the Missouri College Media Association (MCMA), including first place in Division 1 for Best Overall Newspaper and first place for Sweepstakes! Congratulations to The Standard staff and faculty advisor Jack Dimond.

MBEA

At the Missouri Broadcast Educators Association (MBEA), Missouri State brought home 12 awards this year including three awards for Show-Me Chefs (two first-place awards) and a first-place award for Recoiled! Congratulations to the crews that worked so hard on these award-winning projects. (And thank you to Andrew Twibell for compiling this list.)
