The Dean of Students Office is financially supporting this event and will provide your regalia at no cost to you. Please complete the form and drop it in campus mail or email KarenFoster@missouristate.edu no later than Friday, June 6th. You will receive written confirmation within a week. If you do not receive confirmation within a week, or if any of the information that appears on the confirmation slip is incorrect, please notify our office immediately. Instructions will be mailed to you in mid-July concerning where to report to pick up your regalia and line up for the procession. Do “you ever plan to motor west?” Stories abound about the Mother Road, otherwise known as Main Street of America and Will Rogers Highway. This famous boulevard ran from Chicago, Illinois, to Santa Monica, California, and veers through the heart of the Ozarks. Commissioned in 1926, the 2,448 mile road wasn’t fully paved until 1937. Decommissioned in 1984, it is no longer in one full piece as the rise of the interstate paved the way for its demise. It is full of romance, ghost stories and landmarks and spans three time zones. It has given birth to music, poems and movies and has become a popular part of American culture.
