Student Research Symposium
May 4, 2018 1:00-3:00 pm in PSU Grand Ballroom
This symposium is open to all graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in programs within the College of Health and Human Services. The purpose of this symposium is to allow students to present scholarly or creative projects they have been conducting during the past year.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The deadline for submitting abstracts is Tuesday, March 27th, (by 11:59 pm). Faculty research mentors are strongly encouraged to assist students in writing quality abstracts for submission. Once submitted, the faculty research mentor listed by the student will be notified and asked to review the student submission. Please note that special characters such as italics, bolding, and Greek symbols cannot be maintained by our submission system. GUIDELINES FOR POSTERS
Posters must fit within a 4′ X 6′ space on a poster board. Templates and a tutorial on how to create posters may be found on the College of Health and Human Services web page or by following this link: http://www.missouristate.edu/chhs/85291.htm. If the presentation will require electricity or a table, please indicate the need when submitting the abstract.
POSTER PRINTING
To have your poster printed, send the file as an attachment to the CHHS email inbox (collegeofhealthandhumanservices@missouristate.edu)
There will be no charge for printing posters submitted to the CHHS office on or before 5:00pm on April 12th. After 5:00 pm April 12th, normal poster production fees apply.
Extra Color: Solid color background (additional cost $10 or more depending)
Posters submitted after April 19th by 5:00 pm (CST) are not guaranteed to be printed by the Dean’s Office.
