Answering 5 Questions as You Prepare to Vote

Many questions still linger about how and where to vote for the upcoming Nov. 5th general election.

Remember!

  • You do not have to vote for every issue or candidate classification on the ballot – your ballot will still count.
  • You CAN take notes, a sample ballot and/or phone into the polling place to refer to while voting. Nov. 5th ballot has a large number of issues and candidates.
  • Accessible options are available at all polling locations.

Where Can I Vote on Campus?

Only voters that have successfully registered in Greene County can vote at the campus central voting location.  The voting location is at the Great Southern Bank Arena and open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Live on Campus but Did Not Re-register to Vote in Greene County?

Voters who are registered to vote in other Missouri counties have two options:

  1. Go home and vote early. Missouri election authority information can be found at: Local Election Authority. Early polling locations in Missouri are also open this Saturday (check details with your election authority).
  2. On Election Day, go to the Office of the Greene County Clerk (840 N. Boonville, in the historic courthouse building) with ID (MO driver’s/non-driver’s license, passport, or military ID), change the county of registration to Greene County, and vote right there in the courthouse building.

Not Sure What Missouri County You Are Registered To Vote In?

Check your voter registration at  Check Your Voter Registration so people can see where they are registered to vote.

Need to Cast Your Ballot Before Tues., Nov. 5th?

If you are a Greene County registered voter, you can vote early at the below locations:

Both these locations are open on Saturday, Nov. 2nd from 9:00am-4:00pm

  • The Election Center at 1126 N. Boonville Ave, Springfield, MO
    • Open Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm
  • The Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
    • Open Monday-Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm
