Reported fondling
On the afternoon of July 25, 2018, a Missouri State University student reported an incident to the Springfield Police Department and Missouri State University Department of Safety and Transportation that she said occurred on the afternoon of July 25, 2016.
The female student reported that she was on campus on John Q Hammons Parkway between Cherry and Madison Street, when she was approached by a male that asked a question. The student answered the male’s question. The suspect then groped the student without her consent. The suspect is described as being in his 30’s, wearing a green ball cap, gray t-shirt, gray pants and gray tennis shoes. A photo of the suspect is available below.
This incident is being investigated by the Springfield Police Department.
