Brenda Stewart — Administrative Assistant | Institutional Equity and Compliance
As of May 2012, I will have been with MSU for five years. My first four and ½ years was in Facilities Management where I have become acquainted and worked with students, and every level of staff and faculty. For the previous 6 months, I have been in the Office for Institutional Equity and Compliance where again I am one-on-one working everyday with students, staff and faculty. I have a broad perspective and experience of the operations and policies of campus. I am currently working on a master’s degree in Public Administration, after acquiring my bachelor of science in Communications in 2009. I am a 2011 University Staff Ambassador (USA), graduate of the Administration Excellence program and I am a certified administrative professional through IAAP. I have a deep-seated interest in the welfare and well-being for the members of the MSU community. I have been active in staff senate this past year as a member of the CAP working committee and working to revitalize the public relations of staff senate.
All staff members can vote for Divisional Representatives, so be sure to vote for your representative anytime between May 1 and May 31, 2012!
