  • Shared Leave is leave donated by staff for staff and your donation allows you to apply for leave if you run out.
  • Staff T-shirts are available in multiple sizes and are still available for $20. Email Blanca Mallonee to buy a shirt.

Activities/Events:

• June 13 – TOMORROW – 2 PM – see The Goonies at College Station – free tickets and popcorn – email Blanca Mallonee or Charles Babb for information.
• June 15-18 – Staff Appreciation Week
  • Monday, June 15 – 4-6 :30 PM – Enjoy food from Mexican Villa, dessert from Hiland Dairy, and fun activities –  RSVP if you plan to attend.
  • Tuesday, June 16 – 1 PM – Wear Bear Wear and come to Plaster Stadium Field for the annual staff photo.
  • Wednesday, June 17 – 11 AM-1PM – free pineapple whip – the truck will be parked near the flags near Plaster Stadium
  • Thursday, June 18 – 3 PM early release – Thanks, President Williams!
• June 18, 11 AM-1 PM – Book Swap – Glass Hall Atrium – bring books you would like to donate or trade and walk away with something new to read!
• June 18-20 – the Juneteenth city-wide event has three days of events.
• August 28 – 7:05 PM – Springfield Cardinals game – more information to come.

Public Affairs opportunities:

• June 12 – TODAY -3:30 PM, meet at the corner of Pickwick and Cherry to clean up for Adopt-A-Street
• July 1 at 3:30 – write Hope Cards for children receiving weekend meals from Ozarks Food Harvest – Kampeter 102. Email Sharon Harter with questions.
• August 13-15 – Welcome residence hall students by volunteering with Bear Crew
• August 26 – 5:15 PM-8 PM – Volunteer with House Calls – Interact with residence hall students while checking in to see if they have any questions or need assistance.

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays – 5:15-6:15 PM – Fab, Fit and Fun – Magers 100
  • July 15 – 10-11:30 AM – Form I-9/W-4/Direct Deposit Training
