1. DOSA Spring All-Staff Meeting – Make plans to attend the Spring Division of Student Affairs All-Staff meeting on Thursday, February 13th at 8:30am in the PSU Ballroom! Make sure to wear Bear Wear! View the flyer here.
2. Student Success Listening Sessions – Encourage your students to sign-up to attend a Student Success Listening Session. This is an opportunity for students to voice their thoughts on student life, engage with faculty and staff, and help shape the future of Missouri State University! Pizza will be served! It’s limited to 25 students each session so students need to register as soon as possible. Students can only attend one session. Share this form with them.

3. Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Search – The finalist for the Provost position have been announced and will be on campus in the next couple of weeks for final interviews and open forums. The learn about the candidates visit https://www.missouristate.edu/Provostsearch/default.htm.
The Open Forums will be held in the PSU Theatre and there will also be a Zoom linked this week.

4. Chocolate Lovers Luncheon – It’s that time of the year again…The Chocolate Lovers Luncheon is coming up! Join Missouri State Catering for a wonderful lunch on Friday, February 14th, 11am-1pm in the PSU Grand Ballroom. There will be a decadent chocolate buffet to cap off your wonderful luncheon! 5. Lunch and Learns for the Spring – Lunch and Learns are back! All the Lunch and Learns will take place in PSU 317, 12noon-1pm.. Cookies and refreshments will be served. You can RSVP at: https://bit.ly/LnLSP25

6. Inaugural Access and Success Programs Blog Post – Access and Success Programs has posted its first blog in its new inaugural blog for the department. The first blog focuses on the accomplishments of the staff and students in Fall 2024. By following the blog, you’ll stay up to date with the latest posts and be a part of the conversation as we explore new ideas, share important milestones, and showcase our incredible students and partners. 8. From Human Resources – Free Income Tax Return Preparation – Community Partnership of the Ozarks is offering FREE tax preparation services for low- to moderate-income community members through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Read more here.
9. First Year Programs Peer Leader Recruitment – First-Year Programs is starting their Peer Leader recruitment for fall 2025. Applications with two reference forms are due Wed. March 12. Serving as a peer leader is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain leadership skills while supporting our first-year students in GEP 101.
