Get Your Taxes Done for FREE Through VITA

Community Partnership of the Ozarks is offering FREE tax preparation services for low- to moderate-income community members through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Follow these 4 simple steps:

1. Qualify:

• Household income of $67,000 or less
• No rental property, farm income, or cryptocurrency trading
• No bankruptcy or self-employment losses

2. Schedule:
Leave a message or text 417-720-2000 to find a convenient time and location. (Note: call volumes may be high, so please be patient.)

3. Prepare:
Bring the following documents to your appointment:

• All W-2 and 1099 forms
• Valid photo ID for each taxpayer
• Social Security cards for all taxpayers and dependents
• Routing and account number for direct deposit
• 1098-T for college students
• 1095-A if you have Affordable Care Act insurance
• Landlord’s name, address, and phone number if applying for rent rebate

4. Show Up:
Arrive 15 minutes early to have your documents checked and be ready for your appointment.
