Today,we went to the American Center to introduce MSU to Vietnamese students. After our PowerPoint presentation, we broke up into smaller groups where visitors could sit with us and ask us questions about MSU, Springfield, and the United States. It a little intimidating and overwhelming at first to answer so many questions from so many students, but as time went by, we became relaxed and had such an engaging conversation that the presentation lasted longer than expected. I was pleased to see that the students were so enthusiastic to learn about the school and practice their English. Later, we had the amazing opportunity to go to the US Consulate and have a discussion with some diplomats. Finally the day ended with a Dragon Boat Cruise. The ride had a buffet, singers, dancers, and a beautiful look at the city’s night lights.
