We are leaving Vietnam for Myanmar today. The plan was we fly to Bangkok and spend the four hours layover there. I couldn’t go because I don’t have a visa to enter the country as a Chinese citizen. I could get a visa on arrival, but I don’t want everybody to wait for me. When we arrived at the Bangkok airport, people of the airline and the immigration desk said they were not be able to get out of the airport. Therefore, we ended up staying at the airport together. We got Japanese food for lunch. I was surprised that they only had one Thai food restaurant and I couldn’t find it. Then we chatted and finished our blogs for trips in Vietnam at the Starbucks.
After an hour and half, we arrived at the Yangon airport. For dinner we tried Chinese food. It was really good and real Chinese food because Myanmar is influenced by Chinese in many areas. The food tastes really similar to the food from my home town, which is in the southern part of China. I think it was because the climates in those areas are similar.
We always feel tired on travel days, so we went directly to bed after dinner.
