I realize only a few of us are traveling to Australia as an extension, but I am very excited, and wanted to share a few things about Sydney that I found interesting.
1) The Sydney Harbour Bridge is the widest long-span bridge and tallest steel arch bridge in the world, and the 5th longest spanning-arch bridge according to Guinness World Records.
2) It is the 12th most expensive city with property prices averaging USD8,717 per square metre.
3) The Sydney Mint built between 1811 and 1816 is the oldest public building in the Sydney Central Business District.
Being someone who would love to travel and live all over, seeing the Sydney is a very expensive city is very intriguing to me. That being said I have talked to many people that have been there before and it seems to be a favorite for many so I wouldn’t count it out for your next travel destination.
