Today was quite the day if you ask me. We started with a wonderful breakfast in the hotel, and then made our way to STU. The students ate STU we very welcoming and happy to have us join in their game of volleyball. They all seemed to enjoy the presentation that we gave them, and the games we played afterwards were very entertaining as well. We ate at a fantastic vietnamese buffet afterwards where I am pretty sure I ate my body weight in food. I got to see the market that everyone has been talking about and it was crazy!. People grabbing at you and trying to get you to buy all of what they have to offer, but of you just don’t pay attention and keep walking they leave you alone… who am I kidding, they continue to pull at you and try to get you to buy. Being so tall in Vietnam is pretty funny to me. People point at me and call me “Tall American” and ask for pictures quite frequently. After the market we came back to the hotel room for some rest and a quick nap. That nap turned into a 7 hour nap and I woke up at midnight. Brandon and I decided to get up and go check out the remainder of the nightlife here in Saigon. We we stumbled and a student from STU and she pointed us in the direction of our group. We ended up if two different night clubs in Saigon. Im.just happy I made it back to the hotel room with my phone and my wallet. Tomorrow is a free day, so who knows what we are going to get ourself into. Until next time.
