A few of us decided to go out for breakfast and then stop by the market before we took of for our Visit at Saigon Technical University/Troy. We went to Pho 2000, and I got Pho Bo which is probably one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes! Great breakfast! Then, we went to the market to get one of my favorite for foods, fruit!
Then we went to STU, to meet with students from the STU/Troy Program. As we were waiting, some of our group played volleyball with local students. It was cool to see everyone interacting.
I also really enjoyed seeing some of the student I met last year. I loved their reactions when they realized that I lost weight! It was great to get to catch up with them and see some familiar faces in Vietnam. We also met some new students and played some interesting ice breaker games with them.
They also treated us to a wonderful buffet of Vietnamese food. Of course, the part I enjoyed the most was all of the fruit!
After lunch, Kristina and I went back to the hotel so we could pack up and get ready for our side adventure to Da Lat! OIt flight was delayed a bit because of a rain storm, but we finally made it on the plane. Then we realized it was only like a 30 minute flight. Once we landed and got out of the airport, I realized that I already loved this place. The weather is ridiculously nice, and the scenery is gorgeous! I can’t wait to explore Da Lat!
