Today was a nature exploring day in the Taroko National Park. I had a lot of fun hiking and sightseeing.
The first spot we went was Qungshui Cliff. As the name says, it was one of the cliffs that was facing the Pacific Ocuean and had super clean water alone the bay. It wasn’t sunny or rainy so the sky was a little pink at the skyline, and it was beautiful. Then we visited the Changing Temple, which was right on top of two falls. There was supposed to be a single bigger fall beside instead of those two. But because of the finishing of the temple, the one disappeared and the two little ones came up. We also walked through a lot of trails and caves. They said more than two hundreds of soldiers from the nationalist party died building those trails. I’m very thankful for what they did so we can enjoy the wonderful mature right now, though the original purpose wasn’t that simple. There were lots of signs saying cross fast avoiding falling rocks. It was true because I did see a falling rock while I was watching the rocks. Thankfully there was nobody under it. After all, the whole trip was wonderful and relaxing.
At the end of the day, I was tired and hungry, so I rode the bike to the famous night market again. I had barbecue corn, which was tasty and hot, and Yuyan, which was a dessert type of thing made of sticky rice and sweet potatos. While I was at the market, some crowd came to me and yelling. I find out it was some Taiwanese celebrities filming beside me that excited the crowd. I was also excited but not crazily.
It was fun watching the nature and the human social behaviors.
