Today in Bali we did some very cool things. My favorite thing of the day was probably climbing around at the rice terraces. I didn’t realize how much fun it would be running and jumping on the different terrain between the levels of rice. This view from the tops of each side were so beautiful and it was so neat to see how they constructed the field. After that we had lunch at the most beautiful place I’ve ever had lunch. The buffet was situated on the outside of a crater with a huge mountain and lake in the valley. This was one of the most breathtaking sites I’ve seen on the trip. After lunch we went to the site where they make the most expensive coffee in the world. It was a little sad to see the conditions that they keep the animals that make the coffee in and apparently that is a huge issue in Indonesia. We were able to taste an assortment of teas and coffees that were made and sold there and they were all so delicious. We also tried the coffee made by the luwak and it was definitely one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had.
