Uluwata temple has been my favorite one of all the temples I have visited on my time abroad. I have seen many temples between Vietnam and Bali, but Uluwata has been the one that really stands out. Uluwata is placed on a cliff about 150 feet above the Indian Ocean. Wild monkeys roam the grounds of the temple, and you must be really careful with any glasses or hats because the monkeys will come up and take them right off your face or head and destroy them. Chance actually had a monkey come up and take his flip flop directly off his foot, thank goodness that someone was there to throw a few bananas at the monkey to get it to drop the flip flop. After the temple we made our way to GWK cultural park to hang out at the beach. The waves were probably 10 feet high, and it made it very dangerous to swim. The ocean claimed my Ray Bans, maybe fish is swimming around in style. For the third day in a row we got a meal with a view. We had dinner on the beach as we watched the sun set. Tomorrow is our last full day in Bali. Let’s make it a good one. Until next time.
