I woke up really early in the morning to pack and meet up with the rest of the group at the hotel to fly to Singapore. It was another emotional morning for me having to say goodbye to my family for another year since I will not be back after this trip.
At 10 a.m., we arrived in Singapore, took the MRT and finally checked in the hotel at around 1 p.m. Courtney, Brandon, Lucas and I went out after to explore the city. We first walked to a market to get lunch then Merlions Park. It was great to see the city a little bit closer and also clearer by walking. I was amazed by the many modern buildings and infrastructure that Singapore has compared to other Asian countries I have visited. The walk to Merlions Park gave me a European feel in such a peaceful and relaxing way. We passed through a couple bridges and by the rivers that leaded to the main business district. We chilled there a little bit then headed back to the hotel to get ready to go up to the CelaVie with the rest of the group.
Out of all the roof top bars I have been to, Celavie has my favorite view from the 57th floor. I did not get a drink from them so it was free to go up. From the roof top, I got to see the light and water show. Here are some pictures that I took:
