I wanted to introduce this restaurant to everyone because its owner has a brilliant marketing concept!  The kitchen is composed of concessionaires with their own specialties.  The concept is a series of street food stalls with table-served style restaurant.  Ngon means “delicious” in Vietnamese.  These individual cooks/chefs were carefully selected as the best of the street vendors in Ho Chi Minh City.  You may walk around the outer rim of the restaurant to “view” the food, where the chef will cook it all for you.  The food is good and inexpensive, and served in a clean and safe environment.

Ngon Restaurant is located on 160 Pasteur Street in District 1.  It’s not too far from Eden Saigon Hotel.
