After multiple flights and a couple flight delays we finally made it to Ho Chi Minh. The city is not exactly what I pictured in mind but I’m definitely not disappointed. It’s a very busy city with lots of people, roughly 8-10 million. After checking into the hotel we went to lunch at a buffet. I am so glad Mrs. Pham arranged this lunch. It was a great way to get introduced to the cuisine. There were a few things I didn’t care for but overall was a great lunch. Dinner was a bit of an adventure. We walked around the city, crossing multiple streets and intersections. It was a little intimidating but we survived. We ate dinner at a Japanese restaurant it was pretty cheap. One sushi roll and a drink for $4 dollars. Definitely can’t get that back home. Overall I have really enjoyed my first day in Vietnam.
