After getting a full night’s rest in a real bed, I felt refreshed and ready to take on the day. After a very tasty breakfast at Eden Star hotel, we went to HUFLIT to present about MSU to the students. They also presented about their university, and a few students sang traditional Vietnamese songs to us. After singing one of the songs, they asked us to sing it. I know absolutely none Vietnamese language so I thought this was a crazy idea. Bao went up first and then he selected me to join him! I was not good at the song, but some others joined in and it was an awesome experience that I’ll never forget. We also went to the American Center. There we went through a briefing to learn more about what they do there, and then we presented to Vietnamese citizens about where we are from and our culture. This was a lot of fun and we all were able to speak in groups with the people. They asked a lot of good questions and I think we were all able to make some new friends out of it! Plus it was Bella’s birthday today and we all had a little celebration for her after dinner. Day 2 = success
