Bangkok is the capital of Thailand, and one of the places we have a long layover on our trip. It is home to more than 8 million people, so it has about 2 million more people than Missouri. It is home to the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, and Wat Arun, all famous places to visit. This city features immaculate architecture and rich heritage. On the streets you can find vendors and food markets, similar to much Asian culture. Although we will be unable to conquer the whole city, a tour bus will help us to hit the highlights and we will be able to experience as much of their culture as we can in a short period of time. Adding another city (and country) to the list is very exciting!
