Departure is less than a month away and we have three class meeting left before leaving on May 20th. Yesterday, in class we practiced presenting our powerpoint that we will present to the university in Vietnam. Our presentation was a little rough and could use additional information added and some better transitions from each topic. Professor Pham also gave us some great feedback to adjust the presentation. We also discussed needing adaptors and converters to use our electronics. I have adaptors and a converter but I need to look into all my electronics I will be bringing to see if they are dual voltage. After meeting I called my bank and credit card company to get access to make international purchases while in Paris. My bank informed me that they do not charge any additional service charges for making international purchases. However, my Chase credit card does charge a 3% transaction fee for every international purchase made. It’s a nice relief to know I will be able to use my cards while abroad.
