This year, the Theatre and Dance Department is holding their first Wellness Week! This week will include lots of events specifically geared to give our students and faculty resources to improve their overall well-being. The T&D Faculty want to make sure students know about all the resources on campus to help them achieve holistic health. They are working to provide students with opportunities to learn skills that will help them take care of themselves, build resilience, and achieve their goals. Through the course of the week, students may encounter information that applies to their creative life, personal relationships, self-understanding, academic goals, or financial fitness (among many others). You’ll notice some of your professors including wellness information into their classes, but there are also a few events where we can gather as a department. Don’t hesitate to reach out to any of your professors if you have questions or concerns about your wellness and you aren’t sure where to turn! Check out the full schedule of events:

He completed his first book, Sitting Through, as a way to help people learn to use meditation, mindfulness, and awareness, when life presents its toughest challenges.
It’s an exciting time in the T&D Department, and we hope to see everyone at these events!
