This week’s Student Spotlight is over the strong and caring Dung Truong!
“Dung is one of a kind” and “an amazing, responsible friend.”

Dung is a senior in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting program. His credits include The Comedy of Errors with T&D Mainstages, James in Brothers in a Hotel Bed with the Directing II One-Acts, Still Life with Iris with UCYA, and the film Afterburn with Evangel University. He is clearly a man of many talents holding credits, not only on the stage, but in front of a camera and was a primary advocate in the offering of the department’s new summer course, “The Business of Performing.” His peers have described him as being a leader in every class he takes and always available to help others with their schooling.
Outside of school and his career, Dung’s friends describe him as a go-getter, loving, and kind. They say he is “always joking, laughing, and wanting to have fun,” while still being an “incredible guide to everyone around him.” His creativity and leadership speak for themselves, and his friends are forever grateful for the encouragement and fun memories he has helped them cultivate.
Congratulations Dung on all of your personal and academic successes!
