“Every exit is an entry somewhere else.”
– Tom Stoppard
That’s that, everyone; we’ve made it to the end of the semester! This past academic year saw a resurgence of live theatre through main stages, student-led productions, and all other creative work. If you’ve followed along with our productions (or been a part of them yourself), you already know the immense amount of work that went into all forms of theatre brought to the stage this season. Let’s look back on them and be reminded of all the students, faculty, and staff that dedicated their time to the art form this year.
As sad as we are to leave the stage again until the fall, let’s look to the future of the department. Coming up this summer, we have two Tent Theatre productions, Xanadu and Moon Over Buffalo. In the fall, the John Goodman Amphitheatre will finish construction and present our last Tent Theatre production, Crazy For You.
While you’re away from the theatre for awhile, grab your tickets for Tent Theatre and enjoy a nice, relaxing summer. We’ll be waiting to see your faces again in August. Until next time, Missouri State Theatre & Dance!
