Psychology website updated with focus on recruitment

2010-09-28 by

The psychology website was recently updated as part of the Academic Website Project, which strives to enhance academic websites for use in recruitment efforts.

Forensic Child Psychology Certificate Program The new website offers several key features:

  • Homepage links to every academic program
The department homepage provides direct links to every academic program offered by the department, making it easy for students to scan the department’s offerings and quickly access a specific program.
  • Academic programs treated as homepages
Each academic program page is treated as a homepage, with its own unit masthead and global navigation. The homepage calls out the benefits of the program and answers the key recruitment question: “Why study this program at Missouri State?”  It also provides links to key information, from requirements to careers to degree options.
  • Spotlights showcase stories
Spotlights are used throughout the site to tell success stories about students, faculty and alumni. These not only show diversity, but they provide an opportunity for students to picture how they would “fit” in the psychology programs.
