Legal Advice For Online Teaching

2011-11-18 by

Earlier this week I had the honor of sitting in as the resident social media expert advisor for a webinar titled Apps & Web 2.0: Legal Issues in Using the Internet in Class hosted by the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning. This webinar is presented by Dr. Stephanie Delaney from Cascadia Community College and she does a wonderful job of explaining complex issues such as FERPA and privacy issues in using Web 2.0 technology in the classroom. I would highly suggest that anyone on campus who is interested in these issues check out the DVD of the webinar from FCTL.
