It is important to remember that education is the number one reason to be at Missouri State University. Students will take many, many classes during their time here, and it’s is likely there will be at least one class they need extra help in.
The Meyer Library has a center just for that very purpose called the Bear Claw-Center for Learning and Writing. This underutilized campus resource is funded by student fees, which means it is free for students to use whenever they need to. The Bear Claw has an abundance of tutors, who are student that have taken the course and received a good grade.
The subjects range from writing, math, foreign language, science, and many more. Some of the subjects have walk-up times, but others are appointment only. Visit the Bear Claw website to learn more about the resources offered.
Remember students: it is never too early to ask for help.
Happy Studying!
