Early Childhood Educators’ Conference Sept. 21-22 in Springfield

Springfield, Mo. – The Association for Education of Young Children – MO will have its state conference on Sept. 21-22 at the Discovery Center, 438 E St Louis on Friday and the Morris Building on the MSU campus, 301 S Jefferson on Saturday.  The event is open to the public and of particular interest to parents and educators of children from birth to 8 years old. A wide variety of sessions will be presented. Registration is $25 to $120.  Keynote speakers include Marlene Chism, speaker, author, and founder of the Stop Your Drama Methodology and Jill Molli, Family Educational Consultant for Connecting with Kids and Conscious Discipline Trainer.  AEYC-MO is the state affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the largest early childhood professional organization in the nation.  For more information or to register, visit www.aeyc-mo.org.
