We are excited to announce that the Computer Services Help Desk has been voted Best On-Campus Service for the second year in a row!
Every year, the last issue of the Standard features the Best of MSU winners from each category. This is an annual poll in which students are given several categories and are asked to type in their favorite for each. The Help Desk took first in the Best On-Campus Service category. In addition, Cheek Hall Computer Lab was voted Trending for Best Place to Study on Campus.
You’re probably familiar with our lab assistants, seen wearing their Handsome Maroon Vests™ in the Open-Access Labs. But Computer Services does a lot of work behind the scenes as well. We appreciate the hard work of every member of our team, be they from Information Security, Management Information Systems, Networking and Telecommunications, Operations and Systems, or User Support.
We also appreciate YOU, the students who use our services. So here’s what a few of our hard-working team members wanted to say to you:
