Spring Break Reminders – The Office of Student Conduct

March 7, 2023 by Priscilla Childress

For college students, March means Spring Break! Missouri State University’s Spring Break Holiday takes place March 11-19th.  Some of you may be planning a family vacation, some of you may be looking forward to just having your student at home, and some of you may have no idea what your student has planned for their time off from school. Be sure to check in to see what they have going on that week!

Spring Break is a perfect time to remind your student about safe decisions regarding alcohol consumption, sun exposure, travel tips, relationships/friendships, and following University policies. Spring Break also marks just about the halfway point of the semester meaning your student possibly just had or is about to have some midterms.

Remind them of the following campus resources if they are struggling with anything at school and encourage them to finish the semester out strong!

  • Counseling Center at (417) 836-5116
  • Bear CLAW Tutoring Center at (417) 836-6398
  • Center for Academic Success and Transition at (417) 836-8343

We hope all students, and their families, have a fun and safe Spring Break!
